Monta Ellis, whose return was not desired by leaders of The Dallas Mavericks despite his status as top scorer of the franchise with 18.9 points from 2014 to 2015, has agreed to join The Indiana Pacers.

The 29 point guard/shooting guard, who will officially sign with the Pacers on July 9, should sign a $44 million contract over four years, with the possibility to renounce his fourth year.

Ellis, was with the Golden State Warriors in 2005-2011 and the Milwaukee Bucks in 2011-2013, was also sough after by the Sacramento Kings, which should now focus their efforts on Rajon Rondo.
