Zaza Pachulia Dallas Mavericks new Center

Following the Jordan fiasco, the Dallas Mavericks chose Zaza Pachulia as a veteran center.

At a very early age Pachulia was a successful player, approximately 6’8″ at the early age of 13, he was recruited by the Ülkerspor, a Turkish professional team, to then become a member of the Georgian junior national basketball team. He made his mark by leading them at center, thus beating European rivals, such as Bulgaria and Belarus.

Now 31 years old, he averaged 2.4 assists, 6.8 rebounds and 8.3 points for the Milwaukee Bucks last year, starting 42 of 73 games played, now a 12 year NBA veteran, he spent the major part of his career with the Atlanta Hawks.

The 6’11”, 270 pounds Georgian native along with Chandler Parsons, Dirk Nowitzki, Charlie Villanueva and Dwight Powell, will definitely add presence to the front court.
