Jason Pierre-Paul is injured in an accident with fireworks

Due to a hand injury suffered on Saturday night, the New York Giants football star, Jason Pierre-Paul lost a $60 million long-term contract offer.

Concerned for his well being, the Giants are now in the process of establishing the extend of his injuries. Being hospitalized at a North Broward Medical Center in Deerfield Beach, Jason Pierre-Paul’s doctors are finding out if one of the fingers sustained nerve damage.

The final report is that his hand won’t suffer any permanent damage, but now he might miss training camp and also the start of this season. Pierre-Paul should be playing this season under the franchise tag at $14.8 million, although he hasn’t signed the tender.
