The Miami Marlins  and the New York Mets will both be gunning for a victory on Sunday when they meet at Citi Field.

Conley is 3-2 with a 3.62 ERA in six starts since returning from the minors after posting a quality start and a victory over San Francisco his last time out. He let up three runs and six hits over 6 1/3 innings in that one, although the 27-year-old failed to strike out a batter for the first time this year. Conley opened the season with three straight games against the Mets – two starts – and allowed five runs in 12 innings, leaving the Washington native with a 1.98 ERA in eight career matchups (six starts) with New York.

In his 100th career start Tuesday at Yankee Stadium, deGrom gave up five runs across 7 1/3 innings of a 5-4 loss. He has served up two home runs in two of his last three starts after allowing just one over his final four outings in July. The 29-year-old tied a career high with 13 strikeouts in a no-decision at Miami earlier this season but has been hit hard by Stanton and fellow outfielders Christian Yelich (11-for-29) and Marcell Ozuna (8-for-27).

Oddsmakers currently have the Mets listed as 167-moneyline favorites versus the Marlins, while the game’s total is sitting at 8.

The New York Mets had a rare offensive breakout at home and now set their sights on a series win when they host the Miami Marlins in the finale of a three-game set Sunday afternoon. The Mets averaged 2.3 runs during a 1-8 swoon at Citi Field and they were kept off the scoreboard through the first five innings of Saturday’s matchup, but a seven-run outburst in the sixth led to an 8-1 win.

It was the most runs New York has scored at home since July 15 and it snapped the club’s five-game losing streak overall. Miami slugger Giancarlo Stanton was walked three times while being kept in the ballpark for the third straight game, which follows his string of six straight contests with a home run. Stanton is 7-for-18 with three home runs against Sunday’s starter for the Mets, right-hander Jacob deGrom, who puts his 2.07 career ERA at home on the line in his 50th career start at Citi Field. Lefty Adam Conley goes for the Marlins, who had won six of seven prior to Saturday.
