UCF was unable to contain Jahad Thomas on Saturday and the result was a 26-25 Week 7 loss against the Owls.

The Owls were a +3.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 51.5.

Jahad Thomas rushed for 120 yards, while Ryquell Armstead added 78 yards in the win. Ventell Bryant and Jahad Thomas added 94 and 33 receiving yards respectively.

Jawon Hamilton rushed for 38 yards for UCF, while Dontravious Wilson added 35 yards. McKenzie Milton threw for 210 yards for the Knights, while receivers Tre’Quan Smith and Jordan Akins had 103 and 39 yards respectively.

Temple outgained UCF 364-296 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 24-14 by the Owls.

The time of possession battle favored Temple as their offense was on the field for 37:18, longer than the 22:42 of their opponents.

Temple looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against USF. UCF will aim to get back on the winning track at UCONN.
