Bryce Love scampered through the Notre Dame defense for 129 yards as Stanford handed the Fighting Irish a 17-10 defeat on Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium.

The Cardinal were a +3.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 53.0.

Bryce Love rushed for 129 yards, while Ryan Burns added 27 yards in the win. Michael Rector and Trenton Irwin added 34 and 34 receiving yards respectively.

DeShone Kizer rushed for 83 yards for Notre Dame, while Tarean Folston added 49 yards. DeShone Kizer threw for 154 yards for the Fighting Irish, while receivers Torii Hunter Jr. and Equanimeous St. Brown had 70 and 40 yards respectively.

Notre Dame outgained Stanford 307-296 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 18-16 by the Cardinal.

Stanford led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:51-27:09 split in that important category.

Next game, Stanford takes its act home to face Colorado looking for another win. For Notre Dame, they head home to face Miami-FL.
