Northwestern got a 188-yard performance from Justin Jackson as a key part of its 54-40 victory over the Spartans on Saturday at Spartan Stadium.

Michigan State lost the time of possession battle 35:34-24:26, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Northwestern looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Indiana. Michigan State will aim to get back on the winning track at Maryland.
