Anthony Maddie rushed for 111 yards for NIU, while Jordan Huff added 79 yards. Anthony Maddie threw for 224 yards for the Huskies, while receivers Kenny Golladay and Aregeros Turner had 99 and 51 yards respectively.

Western Michigan outgained NIU 573-484 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 28-25 by the Broncos.

NIU lost the time of possession battle 35:20-24:40, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Western Michigan looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Akron. NIU will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Central Michigan.
