Hawaii earned a 34-17 victory over San Jose State on Saturday in Week 6 action at Spartan Stadium.

Hawaii was the ATS victor, as they covered the +3.0-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 63.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Dru Brown rushed for 54 yards, while Diocemy Saint Juste added 38 yards in the win. Marcus Kemp and Dylan Collie added 69 and 54 receiving yards respectively.

Malik Roberson rushed for 91 yards for San Jose State, while Tim Crawley added 39 yards. Kenny Potter threw for 160 yards for the Spartans, while receivers Billy Freeman and Tre Hartley had 51 and 41 yards respectively.

San Jose State lost the offensive yardage battle to Hawaii 431-339 yards in Saturday’s game. Hawaii had more first downs as that total ended up 20-16.

The time of possession battle favored San Jose State as their offense was on the field for 30:16, longer than the 29:44 of their opponents.

Next game, Hawaii takes its act home to face UNLV looking for another win. For San Jose State, they head home to face Nevada.
