Tom Brady joined the New England Patriots in Sunday’s 33-13 Victory against the Cleveland Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium. Brady returned after his four-game suspension because of the NFL’s Deflate gate punishment.

The player, who went 28-of-40 for 406 yards with three touchdowns, said he appreciated the chance to “be back doing what I love to do.” We noticed it in the third quarter when he ran 4 yards to the right sideline to develop a first down. After this, he jumped to his feet and pushed his right arm into the air, while his left hand rested on his right shoulder.

“I don’t run much, so when I do, I think I was a little excited. I’m glad we got the first down,” he said.

He returned Monday afternoon and said “it felt very much like a normal week once I got into it.”

On Sunday’s game he arrived around 9:45 at the stadium looking serene. Then he went straight to the locker room, after this he stepped on the field for the first time. Around noon when he returned to the field, cheering audiences made it feel like it was a home game. As part of his routine, he ran to the other side of the field and pushed his right fist into the air.

According to tight end Martellus Bennett, who received Brady’s touchdown passes, he only needed a little bit WD-40 to get the rust off Brady, but for Tom Brady it wasn’t that easy. “I think there was plenty of rust out there. I could do better in a lot of areas,” he said. “We have a long road ahead, and we’re going to try to keep building. … 4-1 is a pretty good place to be right now.”

Teammates like Rob Gronkowski didn’t see any rust in Brady’s performance. “He came out on fire,” Gronkowski said.

Brady felt overwhelmed with all the support he received from the fans, “It was pretty awesome,” he said about the support.

“We have amazing fans. They showed up today. It was great to hear them.”

When asked about the punishment, he said “I was just thinking about today and what I had to do, just try to focus on what my job is,” also. “This isn’t a time for me to reflect. … It was fun to come out and play, and it was fun to win. I think that’s the most important thing.”
