The battle between the Knights and Golden Panthers didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as FIU was handed a 53-14 defeat on Saturday at FIU Stadium.

UCF was a favorite by -10.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 52.5.

Adrian Killins rushed for 86 yards, while Dontravious Wilson added 58 yards in the win. Adrian Killins and Jordan Akins added 69 and 45 receiving yards respectively.

Anthony Jones rushed for 33 yards for FIU, while Alex Gardner added 26 yards. Alex McGough threw for 68 yards for the Golden Panthers, while receivers Thomas Owens and Tony Gaiter IV had 42 and 18 yards respectively.

FIU lost the offensive yardage battle to UCF 501-189 yards in Saturday’s game. UCF had more first downs as that total ended up 26-11.

The time of possession battle favored UCF as their offense was on the field for 30:27, longer than the 27:05 of their opponents.

UCF looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against East Carolina. FIU will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Florida Atlantic.
