Brent Stockstill threw for 356 yards to lead the Blue Raiders over LA Tech 38-34 on Saturday in Week 4 action at Floyd Stadium.

The match was decisive in favor of Middle Tennessee, but bettors saw the game push as the margin of victory was the same as the closing point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 69.5.

Brent Stockstill completed 27 of 46 pass attempts for 356 yards for the Blue Raiders in the win.

Jarred Craft rushed for 91 yards for LA Tech, while Ryan Higgins added 14 yards. Ryan Higgins threw for 504 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Trent Taylor and Rhashid Bonnette had 210 and 94 yards respectively.

LA Tech outgained Middle Tennessee 622-553 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 35-25 by the Bulldogs.

LA Tech led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:32-26:28 split in that important category.

Next game, Middle Tennessee takes its act on the road to face North Texas looking for another win. For LA Tech, they head home to face UTEP.
