Michigan State couldn’t hang with the Badgers on Saturday as Wisconsin blasted the Spartans 30-6 in Week 4 action at Spartan Stadium.

The Badgers were a +3.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 40.5.

Dare Ogunbowale rushed for 55 yards, while Corey Clement added 54 yards in the win. Jazz Peavy and Troy Fumagalli added 96 and 42 receiving yards respectively.

LJ Scott rushed for 61 yards for Michigan State, while Brian Lewerke added 16 yards. Brian Lewerke threw for 26 yards for the Spartans, while receivers Donnie Corley and Josiah Price had 84 and 58 yards respectively.

Wisconsin lost the offensive yardage battle to Michigan State 325-317 yards in Saturday’s game. Michigan State had more first downs as that total ended up 21-15.

Michigan State lost the time of possession battle 32:48-27:12, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Wisconsin heads into a 5 battle against Michigan. Michigan State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Indiana.
