Georgia couldn’t hang with the Rebels on Saturday as Ole Miss blasted the Bulldogs 45-14 in Week 4 action at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

Ole Miss won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -7.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 61.5.

Chad Kelly rushed for 53 yards, while Akeem Judd added 41 yards in the win. Evan Engram and DaMarkus Lodge added 95 and 72 receiving yards respectively.

Brian Herrien rushed for 78 yards for Georgia, while Sony Michel added 66 yards. Marshall Long threw for 29 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Sony Michel and Terry Godwin had 34 and 25 yards respectively.

Georgia lost the offensive yardage battle to Ole Miss 510-396 yards in Saturday’s game. Ole Miss had more first downs as that total ended up 23-21.

Georgia led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:48-24:12 split in that important category.

Next game, Ole Miss takes its act home to face Memphis looking for another win. For Georgia, they head home to face Tennessee.
