The Hawkeyes grabbed a Week 4 victory over the Scarlet Knights on Saturday, winning 14-7 at High Point Solutions Stadium.

Iowa won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -14.0-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 56.0.

Akrum Wadley rushed for 84 yards, while LeShun Daniels added 77 yards in the win. George Kittle and Akrum Wadley added 56 and 38 receiving yards respectively.

Robert Martin rushed for 106 yards for Rutgers, while Justin Goodwin added 74 yards. Chris Laviano threw for 190 yards for the Scarlet Knights, while receivers Janarion Grant and Andre Patton had 98 and 33 yards respectively.

Iowa lost the offensive yardage battle to Rutgers 383-355 yards in Saturday’s game. Rutgers had more first downs as that total ended up 21-19.

The time of possession battle favored Rutgers as their offense was on the field for 30:41, longer than the 29:19 of their opponents.

Iowa heads into a 5 battle against Northwestern. Rutgers, meanwhile, will have their next action against Ohio State.
