The co-main event features Light Heavyweights Glover Teixeira against Anthony “Rumble” Johnson, the winner will be the number one contender to current titleholder Daniel Cormier. Both fighters are on a lucky roll, Johnson comes for a double winning since his loss to Cormier, whilst Teixeira had three consecutive wins after dropping two straights. Hard as it sounds the fact is that Jon Jones departure from the division as made the whole weight class with a sour taste of less gloss and interest, even though both fighters are indeed excellent pugilists, they are once again mixed up on the run for the title.

Something much more interesting is the welterweight match (all are PPV). Donald Cerrone has a very good record at welterweight even though he was used to fight for most of his career at lightweight. His opponent, Rick Story will be his toughest challenge in this weight class. Rick is very experienced, a big and solid welterweight champ who has been in the octagon with some of the top names in the division. Even though Story has an up and down’s record during his UFC time, he comes from a three times consecutives win, the longest he had since 2011. On the other hand Cerrone is still in vigor and much expected as he has 10 out of 11 matches since November 2013.
