The Hurricanes earned a 4-3 victory over the Rangers on Thursday at PNC Arena.

The Hurricanes were a +137 underdog in the win. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 5.0.

Carolina got goals from Patrick Brown, Justin Faulk, Jeff Skinner, and Victor Rask in the victory. Brown opened the scoring at 11:05 of the first period.

Cam Ward turned in a 24-save effort for the Hurricanes.

New York got goals from Rick Nash, Mats Zuccarello, and Chris Kreider in the loss, but it wasn’t enough.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped 24 of 28 shots for the Rangers, but it wasn’t enough to earn the victory.
