The Senators beat Winnipeg 2-1 on Wednesday, earning a victory backstopped by Andrew Hammond’s 20 saves.

The Senators were a +111 underdog in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 5.5.

Ottawa got goals from Zack Smith, and Chiasson in the victory. Smith opened the scoring at 3:16 of the first period.

Andrew Hammond stopped 20 of 21 Winnipeg shots in the victory.

Winnipeg got a goal from Mark Scheifele in the loss, but it wasn’t enough.

Hutchinson stopped 17 of 19 shots for the Jets, but it wasn’t enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Ottawa went 0-for-2, while the Jets were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Ottawa lost the shots on goal battle to Winnipeg by a margin of 21-19.

Next game, Ottawa takes its act on the road to face Minnesota looking for another win. For Winnipeg, they head home to face Chicago.
