The Capitals came up short Wednesday against the Flyers, falling 2-1 in a shootout.

The Flyers were a -109 favorite in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 5.0.

Philadelphia got a goal from Brayden Schenn in the victory. Schenn opened the scoring at 14:32 of the third period.
