Sean Monahan scored a pair of goals against the Canadiens as Calgary handed Montreal a 4-1 defeat on Sunday at Bell Centre.

Calgary won as a -104 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Sean Monahan(2), Johnny Gaudreau, and Joe Colborne each scored for the Flames in the victory. Colborne opened the scoring for Calgary.

Niklas Backstrom turned in a 21-save effort for the Flames.

Mike Condon stopped 31 of 35 shots for the Canadiens, but it wasn’t enough to earn the victory.
