Drew Brees’s 323-yard performance through the air was the key in New Orleans’s 20-17 win over Atlanta on Sunday at Georgia Dome.
New Orleans was the ATS victor, as they covered the +5.5-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 53.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
Drew Brees completed 32 of 42 pass attempts for 323 yards and 1 TDs for the Saints in the win.
Devonta Freeman rushed for 81 yards for Atlanta, while Terron Ward added 11 yards. Matt Ryan threw for 334 yards for the Falcons, while receivers Julio Jones and Jacob Tamme had 149 and 61 yards respectively.
New Orleans lost the offensive yardage battle to Atlanta 419-390 yards in Sunday’s game. Atlanta had more first downs as that total ended up 25-24.
The time of possession battle favored Atlanta as their offense was on the field for 30:26, longer than the 29:34 of their opponents.
