Vegas Coverage Handicapping tips: Detroit Lions the away team will beat the Spread -3 VC picks Detroit Lions.

The Lions had no answer for Todd Gurley on Sunday as the Rams rolled to a 21-14 win at Edward Jones Dome.

Joique Bell rushed for 50 yards for Detroit, while Ameer Abdullah added 23 yards. Matthew Stafford threw for 245 yards for the Lions, while receivers Golden Tate and Theo Riddick had 60 and 44 yards respectively.

St. Louis lost the offensive yardage battle to Detroit 331-317 yards in Sunday’s game. Detroit had more first downs as that total ended up 22-15.

St. Louis lost the time of possession battle 33:50-26:10, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, St. Louis takes its act home to face Tampa Bay looking for another win. For Detroit, they head on the road to face New Orleans.
