Sony Michel ran for 132 yards as Georgia handled Ga Southern by a score of 23-17 on Saturday at Sanford Stadium.

The Bulldogs earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -12.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 51.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Sony Michel rushed for 132 yards, while Isaiah McKenzie added 19 yards in the win. Malcolm Mitchell and Jordan Davis added 73 and 24 receiving yards respectively.

Ga Southern lost the offensive yardage battle to Georgia 313-277 yards in Saturday’s game. Georgia had more first downs as that total ended up 17-11.

Ga Southern led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:45-27:15 split in that important category.

Georgia looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Georgia Tech. Ga Southern will aim to get back on the winning track vs. South Alabama.
