Vegas Coverage Handicapping tips: Ohio Bobcats the home team will beat the Spread -9.5, VC picks Ohio Bobcats.

The Cardinals were burned by KeVonn Mabon for 139 receiving yards on Tuesday as the Bobcats picked up a 48-31 win at Peden Stadium.

Ohio was the ATS victor, as they covered the -10.0-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 56.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Darian Green rushed for 74 yards, while Riley Neal added 62 yards in the win. KeVonn Mabon and Jordan Williams added 139 and 78 receiving yards respectively.

A.J. Ouellette rushed for 121 yards for Ball State, while Dorian Brown added 82 yards. JD Sprague threw for 275 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Jordan Reid and Sebastian Smith had 112 and 89 yards respectively.

Ball State lost the offensive yardage battle to Ohio 607-421 yards in Tuesday’s game. Ohio had more first downs as that total ended up 30-18.

Ball State lost the time of possession battle 37:44-22:16, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Ohio takes its act on the road to face Northern Illinois looking for another win. For Ball State, they head home to face Bowling Green.
