Vegas Coverage Handicapping tips: Iowa Hawkeyes the home team will beat the Spread -12.5 VC Iowa Hawkeyes.

KJ Maye was good for 106 receiving yards on Saturday as the Hawkeyes grabbed a 40-35 win over the Golden Gophers at Kinnick Stadium.

Shannon Brooks rushed for 86 yards, while Mitch Leidner added 32 yards in the win. KJ Maye and Brandon Lingen added 106 and 105 receiving yards respectively.

LeShun Daniels rushed for 195 yards for Minnesota, while C.J. Beathard added 50 yards. Tevaun Smith threw for 21 yards for the Golden Gophers, while receivers Matt VandeBerg and Henry Krieger-Coble had 74 and 61 yards respectively.

Iowa outgained Minnesota 506-434 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 27-24 by the Hawkeyes.

The time of possession battle favored Iowa as their offense was on the field for 35:32, longer than the 24:28 of their opponents.

Next game, Iowa takes its act home to face Purdue looking for another win. For Minnesota, they head home to face Illinois.
