New York Jets Sheldon Richardson expressed via twitter his disapproval with the media reports about him guaranteeing his team’s win against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

The player not only referred the media, but also to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, maybe because the league makes it necessary for players to speak with the media. Seeing that Richardson classified the reports as “BS” we can assume he feels that his words were misunderstood or manipulated by the media in order to make headlines.

The player actual words were; “This is going to be another win for us. We’ll let you all write the columns about validating wins and stuff like that. This is going to be another win in the win column if we go out there and execute and do what we’re supposed to do,” and “we’re going to be up in the division, that’s how we’re going to look at it. We’re going to be the front-runners, that’s how we look at it.”

The original headline was “Sheldon Richardson Guarantees a Jets Win at Patriots.” And after this it was changed to “Sheldon Richardson Confident in a Jets Win at Patriots,” But for the Jets player, the damage already had been done.
