According to Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell, Martha Firestone Ford, the franchise owner is not happy with the Lions productivity so far. Detroit dropped to 0-5 during Sunday’s game lost 42-17  to the Arizona Cardinals, and is the only team in the NFL with zero wins.

“So it’s our job to get that turned around,” Coach Caldwell has all the pressure on his shoulders, “They were certainly as upset about this game as anybody, like they have been about the entire season,” he said Monday.

After the death of her husband, William Clay Ford Sr., in March of 2014, Firestone Ford has spoken publicly only once since she took control of the franchise. Although, she has been present at games, and spotted at practices as well.

Firestone Ford’s son, William Clay Ford Jr., appeared on WJR radio in Detroit on Friday, and according to him, he hasn’t been very involved with the team since his father’s death. Ford Jr. and his sisters are listed as Vice Chairmen of the organization, and he remains on the NFL’s broadcasting committee. He also said that his mother is in total control of the franchise.

Martin Mayhew general manager, and team president Tom Lewand, have both shared similar messages with Caldwell about how the team has performed so far this season.

Caldwell accentuated Monday that Matthew Stafford, will be starting as the team’s quarterback. He believes the player is still able of straightening his issues out and he’s “not closing the door on him,” and he also said the Lions are making no coaching changes at this time.
