Brad Kaaya sliced and diced the Hurricanes defense for 405 yards as Florida State handed Miami a 29-24 defeat on Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium.
Florida State did not, however, defeat the Hurricanes against the spread, which closed at -6.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 54.5.
Brad Kaaya completed 29 of 49 pass attempts for 405 yards for the Seminoles in the win.
Dalvin Cook rushed for 222 yards for Miami, while Johnathan Vickers added 14 yards. Everett Golson threw for 291 yards for the Hurricanes, while receivers Levonte Whitfield and Dalvin Cook had 95 and 47 yards respectively.
Florida State outgained Miami 539-425 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-19 by the Seminoles.
Florida State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:23-28:37 split in that important category.
Next game, Florida State takes its act home to face Louisville looking for another win. For Miami, they head home to face Virginia Tech.
