Miami Dolphins continuous making coaching changes. This Thursday Kevin Coyle was fired as Miami’s defensive coordinator. This decision was made by Dan Campbell, after being named interim head coach on Monday, and named Lou Anarumo the new defensive coordinator.

In 2012 Coyle joined the Dolphins as defensive coordinator, when Philbin became head coach. Miami’s defensive work went gradually behind to a point where the Dolphins currently rank last in the league. He also got internal criticism from Dolphins players, for example new defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Anarumo’s experience as a defensive coordinator came with the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy from 1992-94, and eight seasons as Purdue’s defensive backs coach until he was hired by Philbin in 2012.
