Drew Brees was good for 359 yards through the air on Sunday as the Saints got past the Cowboys by a score of 26-20 at Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The Saints were a -3.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 48.5.
Drew Brees completed 33 of 41 pass attempts for 359 yards and 2 TDs for the Saints in the win.
Lance Dunbar rushed for 54 yards for Dallas, while Darren McFadden added 31 yards. Brandon Weeden threw for 246 yards for the Cowboys, while receivers Brice Butler and Cole Beasley had 67 and 62 yards respectively.
Dallas lost the offensive yardage battle to New Orleans 438-335 yards in Sunday’s game. New Orleans had more first downs as that total ended up 27-21.
New Orleans led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:53-29:20 split in that important category.
Next game, New Orleans takes its act on the road to face Philadelphia looking for another win. For Dallas, they head home to face New England.
