Football is back and both Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers will do the honors of playing the first game of the opening of this preseason.

We can all agree that the Steelers need to refocus and reshape their defense, while the Vikings need to see improvement from young quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, nonetheless both teams have what it takes to be strong teams next season.

As both teams take center stage at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio on Sunday, many star players will be taking the sidelines, at least on the Steelers side, since coach Mike Tomlin as the intention of letting

Le’Veon Bell, Antonio Brown, Ben Roethlisberger, Maurkice Pouncey, James Harrison and Heath Miller sit this one out.

As mentioned earlier, the Steelers defense, which as been a weakness for Pittsburgh, will be interesting to watch as Jason Worilds, Troy Polamalu and Ike Taylor took the retirement road as well as the loss of defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau, and while Le’Veon Bell

Here are some key spots and players to watch, first lets go with both running backs Josh Harris and Dri Archer behind DeAngelo Williams, followed by both cornerback Kevin Fogg and B.W. Webb, and, while Le’Veon Bell serves a two game suspension, he’ll be replaced by Williams. It’ll be interesting to see who will be the designated Punter since Brad Wing and Jordan Berry are both competing fort the starting role.

Meanwhile, on the opposing side all seems to be a mystery, since the Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer seems to be a moody type of guy and will act accordingly, leaving us clueless on his tactic, and all we have is the improvement of offensive leader Bridgewater which is capital for the Vikings.

As for running back Adrian Peterson, he’ll be watching the game from the sidelines in hopes that he can fulfill his future position as center of the Minnesota’s offense.

Last but not least, veteran receiver Mike Wallace, who, paired up with Bridgewater, is an important piece and as they call it the Bridgewater to Wallace connection is vital for Minnesota this season.
