Strange how one decision can turn your life around, or shall we say one franchise around. We can definitely say that the Clippers went from hell to heaven with the return of the protégé DeAndre Jordan.

You can just imagine how Doc Rivers feels, and, in spite of a non-existent financial flexibility, the franchise indeed hit hard by eliminating most of its gaps. Starting with Paul Pierce, Wesley Johnson and Lance Stephenson, who will ciment the team, followed by Austin Rivers and Pablo Prigioni who can cover for Blake Griffin, Chris Paul on the bench, and last but not least Josh Smith. who will relay Cole Aldrich and DeAndre Jordan, while the star can do what he does best, play basketball.

They are more than ready to take the title, and coach Doc Rivers is ecstatic, mind you the only thing left is to translate what’s on paper to the game and make it happened.

But they are not the only franchise who reinforced themselves over the summer, let’s see, we have the Memphis Grizzlies, the Houston Rockets, the San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder who can count on the return of Kevin Durant, and what about the Golden State Warriors crowned NBA Champions.

By any means, it is not going to be a piece of cake for any of these franchise, there’s a lot at stake and there’s a lot of awesome players out there.
