After being tossed around during his 9 year career in the NFL, Brandon Marshall decided to stay and perhaps even retire with the New York Jets. He played for the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears to land with the New York Jets in March of this year.

The 31 years old wide receiver answered several fan questions via social network about his future and although he did not mention any retirement date, he did confirm that the New York Jest was his final destination.

“If I leave tomorrow, or retire, this is my last team, “he wrote on his Twitter account. “After the Jets, I stop.”

For 7 consecutive years he had over 1000 yards per season, recently in his 2014-2015 season he achieved 61 catches for 721 yards for an average of 11.8 per catch, his worst season to date.

Marshall has still a lot to give and perhaps under the watchful eye of coach Todd Bowles he can return to being the wide receiver, he once was, but if he continues to decline on his high salary, it might just bury his football career.
