The Golden State Warriors agreed to a $2.5 million over one year contract with the veteran guard Leandro Barbosa. Playing for 6 teams during his 12 year career.

He started off with the San Antonio Spurs back in 2003 then traded to the Phoenix Suns where he stayed for 7 years, then he played with the Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics and Suns again. In 2014 he signed a one year deal with the Golden State Warriors.

Unrestricted free agent, Barbosa averaged 7.1 points and 1.5 assists in 14.9 minutes per game and made quite a few key contributions in the playoffs with 13 points in a Game 5 winning over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.

This 6’3″ player won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award back in 2007 with an average of 18.1 points per game, his career average is 11.4 points and 2.3 assists in 22.9 minutes per game.
