De’Andre Johnson has been officially dismissed after the release of a surveillance video from the State Attorney’s Office in Tallahassee, Florida. The video shows clearly Johnson hitting a young student at a bar back in May, although De’Andre was suspended, the University in collaboration with FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher, went further by dismissing him.

He’s now facing misdemeanour’s battery charges for this event after turning himself in before being released on bond. This young player is rated a three star prospect by the 247Sports Composite, he was to compete for the starting QB position after Jameis Winston departure for the NFL and battle with Everett Golson and Sean Maguire.

Jose Baez, Johnson’s defense attorney said. in a statement, that De’Andre is “extremely embarrassed and offers his heartfelt apologies to everyone.”
