Jose Aldo’s injury suffered in a training session is finally let him out of the fight with Conor McGregor to be held on July 11th.

Aldo returned to training, but finally the injury prevented him to continue with his preparation, so UFC President Dana White announced his departure from the billboard.

“Coach Aldo said that the pain was too much and that I could not fight, so it is Chad Mendes who will fight against Conor McGregor for the interim belt.”

Jose Aldo has left five fights due to injury so it was decided upon an interim championship between Mendes and McGregor dispute, hoping that upon is return, “Scarface” can seek unification.
