According to reports, an unexpected suitor has emerged in the LaMarcus Aldridge drawing. The now free-agent will allow the Toronto Raptors to make their offer in a meeting once free agency officially begins.

It seems that Aldridge wants to join the Raptors and supposedly told the Portland Trail Blazers he’s not re-signing, further more, Spurs, Mavericks and Lakers are in line to get him and perhaps also the Rockets who might join the race.

Yes, Toronto Raptors can be a reel threat, When Greivis Vasquez draft day comes and he’s joining the Milwaukee Bucks they will in return have enough cap room thus they will have to renounce the rights to let go of agents Amir Johnson and Lou Williams to be officially ready although odds are that they won’t do it if they can sign Aldridge.

Think about it! If you put together Kyle Lowry, Terrence Ross, Jonas Valanciunas DeMar DeRozan Patrick Patterson and LaMarcus Aldridge this can send Toronto out of the Eastern conference. Before there loss with Washington Wizard, Raptors finished 49 to 33 last season.

Toronto also is attempting to clear some cap space for Kevin Durant in 2016 but it seems unlikely they’ll be able to even with the arrival of Aldridge in return it will cost them Valanciunas and Ross.
