Unless there’s a huge turnaround, Marc Gasol of the Memphis Grizzlies is expected to remain with his team by signing a huge contract. After all, the Spanish man will be a free agent, and other franchises are bound to submit him with important proposals.

Among the interested teams we should logically find the San Antonio Spurs, the Boston Celtics, the New York Knicks but not the Lakers. And according to the LA Times the California Franchise doesn’t stand a chance with him.

Indeed, Marc Gasol did not appreciate the treatment of the Lakers with is brother, Pau Gasol, in his last years in California.

Before his departure last summer for the Chicago Bulls, Pau Gasol had actually been criticized by supporters of the Los Angeles Lakers and they tried to trade him repeatedly. Logically enough, Marc Gasol has already ruled out the possibility of joining LA .. Anyway, Marc has not decided to leave the Memphis Grizzlies.

As a reminder, the main priority of the Los Angeles Lakers this summer should be LaMarcus Aldridge with a proposal of $80 million over 4 years.
