Phil Jackson is completely a fan of his new player, Kristaps Porzingis. Drafted at #4 pick of the last draft, the young Latvian is promised a great future from several NBA scouts and therefore the Zen Master. Although it will surely need years in this league to express his true potential, Porzingis is extremely confident about the impact he will have in his new team. In an interview with the New York Post, Kristaps Porzingis announced he thought he could change the future of the New York Knicks.

“I think with me and Jerian Grant, we will, I hope, make a difference now and in the future and do something really special. I want to have a long career in the NBA, I want to be an AllStar and I hope to, one day, win a title with the New York Knicks,” said Kristaps Porzingis.

Just that!… Anyway, the young man has big ambitions and it is good to have such motivation before starting his career in the NBA. In New York, the pressure may be very high on his shoulders and the young Kristaps Porzingis will have to keep his confidence to succeed in this environment. Remember, the Knicks have won more title since 1973, as to say that Porzingis could be part of the history of the franchise if its ambitions were becoming reality.
