What can we say about Cody Latimer, Denver Broncos wide receiver who’s last year performance was, shall we say, disappointing. This 6 foot 2 player, caught only two passes last season and it feels like he still has a lot to learn if he ever wants to take a leap to stardom this season.

Pairing up with Peyton Manning at quarterback throwing camp and familiarizing himself with coach Gary Kubiak’s playbook, this young receiver is not giving up, au contraire, he’s determine to get back on the field and play.

“It’s much easier to catch on. It gives you time to play fast; you don’t have to think so much,” Latimer said. “Not as many adjustments in this offense. Once you know what you’re doing out of the huddle, you stick with that. No changing on the run.”

This is all Latimer really needed to do, catching up with the mental side of the game, His boasted size and speed as a fresh out of college boy gave him all the assets to excel at the NFL level, now all we can do is sit and watch and observe as Latimer proves himself on the field.

Brock Osweiler and teammates saw a different player this offseason and he might just be ready for a breakout season.
